MARJI celebrates Women’s Day by raising awareness about the Constitution
On behalf of the social organization Mere Adhikar Meri Jimmedari (MARJI) celebrated International Women’s Day with the theme MI MAHILA SANVIDHANAT MAZA SANMAN PAHILA at various places in Mumbai with great enthusiasm.
GOREGAON
In the Women’s Day program organized by Anganwadi worker Ranjana Jayabhai at Goregaon Unit No. 31 in Mumbai, MARJI’s coordinators Prati Koli and Vaishnavi Mapgaonkar informed the parents about the various rights included in the Indian Constitution and various women’s and children’s laws.
SEWRI
In the program organized by local activist Asha Kadam in Indiranagar, Sewri, Prapti and Vaishnavi administered the Mahila Samman Shapath to the women present and wished them a Happy Women’s Day.
GOREGAON
The program was organized by the coordinator of the organization Vandana Xaviers at Unit No. 32, Aarey Colony, Goregaon East, Mumbai. In this program, Vandana Xaviers collectively took the Mahila Samman Pledge prepared by Samvidhan Jagar Abhiyan Maharashtra. While the organization’s volunteer and law student Tushar Dhivare, explained the various rights granted to women by the Constitution in front of the women present.
SANTACRUZ
In a program organized by Akhil Maharashtra Kunbi Seva Sangh at Dattamandir Road, Santacruz East, Marji Sanghatana’s partners, law students Vivek Salvi, Vaishnavi Mapgaonkar and Prapti Koli gave detailed information about the special provisions for women in the Constitution.
BADLAPUR
Marji Sanghatana’s National Legal Advisor Adv. Trupti Patil guided the students of Adarsh College, Badlapur on the occasion of Women’s Day.
